Hey all,

I was wondering with any of your projects if there are any artists you would recommend? Looking to commission some soon and figured this would be the best place to start. Looking for a digital artist that can do both a painted Photoshop look and cell-shading.

Best,
-Jonathan

Artist

Hey Jon!
I have an artist friend of mine that has been doing ALL my art work on my game for the past 10 years. His name is Robert he can be found at rob@zalio.com. if you contact him, tell him that Dano from Radarlock Games sent you. Additionally, if you are in the LA area (So-Cal) in January we are organizing a game inventor/play testing day/weekend, you are welcome to attend.

A reliable artist.

I've worked with Matt Silber before, and he's been very patient with me trying to explain what I wanted....

I've used this site for a few

I've used this site for a few projects...it's all anime/manga-style artwork, but there's a good amount of variation within the genre and the prices are very reasonable depending on who you hire:

Look up Art & Graphic Design for Tabletop games on Facebook as well. A very helpful group for both feedback and finding artists looking for jobs.

You could try your local University (or College). Maybe meet with some local artist and see if any suit your needs. You could also talk to a professor about his students and see if he can recommend anyone.

I've done this for Graphic Design - and the person I hired did a very good job. And I met Charles (Tradewars - Homeworld artist) via another artist who taught at the same school. Charles also teaches as regular job several days a week...

And it's back to school time - so artists should be available to contact. This is another avenue you can "explore" if you should find the free time!
