Thank you to all of those who posted comments concerning this particular game. Due to the response concerning this game, I am rescinding it & will re-examine its mechanics. Again, thank you.

At first glance

I don't have time to read the rules right now but the first thing i noticed was your name is not on the game. Credit yourself and date the document.

I’m going to an abstract games tournament this weekend run by game designer Clark Rodeffer who is an abstract game aficionado. In case he doesn’t see your post I’ll make sure he sees the rules and let you know any comments he has along with mine once I have had time to review it.

I'll have a go playing it with anyone else I can rope in, and let you know how that goes.

The game looks clean, neat, and fun.

Would it work with four players, do you think?

Also, it's just the grammar nerd in me, but you should change the instances of "less than" to "fewer than." Any time you can count the number of something (pieces on a board; cards in a hand; and yes, allowed items in the express lane at the grocery store, even though grocery stores always mess this up), it's "greater than"/"fewer than"; if you can't count it (water in a glass; love in your heart, grain in a silo), it's "more than"/"less than."

4-player version...

Thank you for your comments.

Issue #1 - "Less than vs. Fewer than" - I thank you for this observation. If this game proves to be worthwhile, then the descriptive language can most certainly be changed.

Issue #2 - "4-player version" - Again, my primary concern is if the game proves to be worthwhile in independent testing. I have not considered a 4-player version as of yet. If this game receives positive feedback, then a 4-player version could be considered. Thank you for this suggestion.

Any Comments? Anyone?

I do not wish to impose, however, I have not yet heard back from anyone so far concerning the quality of gameplay for this game. I appreciate anyone who has already taken the time to read this topic previously & would also appreciate any new comments or opinions concerning this game. Thank you.

I don't understand why the "Draw" configuration is a draw; under the rules, the first player has a number of valid plays; eg, he could cover blue-blue-yellow, blue-blue-black, etc. Maybe there's some additional rule that the rules don't make clear?

"Draw" Scenario

Thank you for your comments.

The "Draw" scenario is a result of two pacifist players who do not want to engage each other. Since each player has 6 pieces of each color, two players could potentially (although highly unlikely) place their pieces down in such a manner where both players would run out of pieces & neither player would achieve victory.

You are correct that the first player (red-green) has several options. For the draw scenario to occur, though, both players must be entirely pacifist in their moves. Just to be clear, though - Black merely represents an empty space & not an actual "color." This may not have been clear enough & I will correct that in the next version. Thank you.

If you have any other advice or comments concerning the game, please let me know. Thank you.
