I finished setting up my new web site for board game design. There is currently a lot of missing content that will be added with time. Here is the address:

Thank You

Larienna, thank you for

Larienna, thank you for sharing this. I'm still checking out this site of yours while I'm waking up with my coffee this morning. I like the theme. I realise your not finished probably and it still needs work. I wanted to point out something that I observed though. I want to quote this line on your front page: "This is a board game designer's website. You will find here the fruit of all the work I have done so far." The way this is worded may be some problems. I would find it better to say something more like "I am a board game designer."

Now the next sentence where it sais "fruit of my work", is there anather way you could word that. It almost sounds like to me as the viewer that your loading on me from the outset that you have a lot invested and I may want to think twice about not saying anything or giveing critism. This is just my initial thoughts. No "fruit"! I don't think fruit belongs on your site unless it's a game about fruit.

I hope that helps.

Another thought occured to

Another thought occured to me. I know you want playtesters like all of us. What if your wordage for playtesters was something more direct and upfront like "Calling all playters!" or "Attention: PLAYTESTERS NEEDED!" just a thought.

I don't now what this means

I don't now what this means to you or anyone els, but I am currious about the manner in which your "bio" is carried out. I like to connect to someone in some way when viewing a website. Make sure they're human and not some creature with special plans that conflict with mine.

You've go it as "designers profile". Why is this? I would expect such a thing on the back of a larienna trading card.

BTW, I like that triangular theory article. I feel the same way but don't call it that.

Maybe this is a french expression I have literally traduced in english which makes it looks odd.

First, I'll start to attract people on my site. If I get a lot of visits, posting a playtest request has more chances to get read.

Every designer has quirks of their own and explaining your interests, how you think and how you design is a way for players to know if you design games that they might actually like or not. Or it's a way for them to know what they could expect from you.

You would have given it another name? I can't find one right now.

Again, thanks for taking a look. I am probably going to play test fallen kingdoms with other designer today and if it works well, I probably start thinking about production and maybe I will finally have my first published game (as PDF of course). I have also thinking to finally put on paper variants that I have designed for games I have. So I am doing some solo playtesting. The next one might be shadow over camelot and/or vinci.

I see in writen language it's easy for there to be misunderstanding. It's cool. what I meant was I feel that way but have never had a name for it. I don't have any other names.

I'm not really sure that some of my perspectives of your site are relavent considering the scope or purpose of the site. It's your call of course.
