On August 12, 2009, the new website of the Game Designer Association (SAZ) www.spieleautorenzunft.de, went online with a modern design, up-to-date contents and many functions.
Under the motto "Game designers – the inventors, the developers, the composers, the authors, the creative faces behind the games", the SAZ wants to advocate the game designers' interests with even more effective public relations than before.
Besides the area that the public can access, the members-only area, in particular, is equipped with new functions. Members now have the possibility, for instance, to create a public designers profile. In addition, there is a forum that serves as an up-to-date platform for internal discussions and exchange of experiences.
Shortly, an animated feature will be established: the portrait in the profile automatically becomes a part of a moving designers' photo display strip in the header area of the website – true to our motto, "… the creative faces behind the games ".
