Our college friends are getting together to play games for a weekend.

Can anyone suggest a world conquest game that we might enjoy if we have played Supremacy, Axis, and Risk in the past?

I was looking for an old game called Ultimatum, but having little luck tracking that one down.

I would be open to a BGDF member's prototype if one exists, assuming its mostly complete.

It's not really world

It's not really world conquest, but it is set on a global scale. Pandemic.

I'm going to have to buy it because it looks interesting and is a totally cooperative game versus every man for themselves, which from what I've read takes a couple games to get past the "I'm the winner!" mentality. Plus, it's not horribly expensive.

There is a new version of Rick out there that has a few new gameplay additions that has become pretty popular, too. I think Target is carrying it.

You might consider Nexus Ops.

You might consider Nexus Ops. It's not world conquest and it's not epic length, but it's a popular multi-player war game with cool bits. Inexpensive, too.

No there isn't. There's just me. I may be out of print, but I'm still very playable. A classic, in fact. ;-)

Sword & Sail

I strongly recommend Sword & Sail by Big Little Games (http://www.biglittlegames.com/). It's a nice "conquer Europe) game that plays very quickly while still being satisfying.
