BGG CON - November 20-23

This year's BGG con will be held in Dallas, TX, between November 20-23. I was wondering if anyone on this forum will be attending. There is a chance my company will be able to attend, seeing as we were invited by the management of this convention. We hope to playtest a few of our games, as well as network with a few fellow designers.

So, anyone else going to come? You can find out more about the event here. A topic on BGG told that the conference is full, but management are stashing up a waiting list in case they can find a way to procure more room at the hotel. I hope some of you have already registered, or plan to.

I think there are at least 5 BGDFers going. Also see the geeklist referenced by Seth in that other thread, there are several prototypes people are bringing.

Wow, thanks! I've been out of the BGDF loop for a while, thanks you two for bringing me up to speed. I have been invited, and am still deciding whether I have enough time to go or not. Do any of you have any reasons why I should go? In coming, I would be able to bring my latest game idea in prototye form, as well as lots of other ideas I can brainstorm with fellow designers. Also, it would be nice to meet a few of the guys on this forum, and discuss games in general.

Why go to BGG.con?

Well, I go to BGG.con every year because it's AMAZINGLY FUN.

However, it's sold out this year, though I don't know if they reopened registration yet like they were going to. I'd check out the BGG front page.

I just zipped through your topics on BGG and appricieate that you went through the trouble to post that for the benifit of others. I'm going to be very busy in Novemeber working with Westwood Studios, and our company, so I will probably not be able to make it. Oh well, I hope someone will "live" blog the event!
