How are you? Tell me about yourself. I'd like to know. Is life okay? Please inform me.

:)

sure

I'm ok thanks, started teaching English to agricultural students today, really looking forward to all the fun activities we can do with them in class.
My home is a mess, the guy who was coming to fix the shower kept delaying and I only have one small sink apart from that so getting water to clean things was difficult, but the shower's fixed now.
Missing family and friends back home, how are you?

I'm a little stressed out,

I'm a little stressed out, but that's because things are HAPPENING so that's ok. Thanks for asking! How are you? (I'm Ben. Nice to meet you.)

That all sounds so much fun! Aside from the shower problem, :( I hope it gets fixed. Good Luck! And I'm fantastic!

Doing rather well, making

Doing rather well, making good progress on writing my first scenario in english.

Dutch movie industry is quite terrible after all and only wants boring every day real life events for its movies pretty much.

The tough part will be contacting producers and studios from english speaking countries and pitching my movie idea.

Started writing the synopsis yesterday, I already have a lot to add to it today to flesh it out more and want to have it ready by the end of the week.
Next week I want to write a sample scene from it and hope to start pitching it before the end of the week.

It's a fantasy movie on a smaller scale since I'm keeping a small budget in mind. So far I'm quite happy about this story though, it's shaping up quite nicely and quite fast too. It's pretty much writing itself after the idea popped into my head last sunday.

Life's mainly good except I

Life's mainly good except I am having issues with my fiancé on what we want for a wedding. She wants a decent sized wedding and I want a small wedding. Besides that I am great.

Hope everyone is okay.

Hey! Glad everyone is doing relatively okay! Hope everyone is still doing okay! I'm fine! A-Okay! Working on a lot of projects.

Question:What's your biggest fear?

Not bad thanks

I'm doing fine. Also teaching English language as it happens.

Gamewise, I'm keeping an eye on a game I developed long ago but just recently decided to enter into BGG's game contest. It hasn't received any comments or feedback. It's probably far too 'rulesy' to have broad appeal, but there were thematic elements that I was too personally interested in to dispense with. A case of personal tastes (mine and my dad's) over more sensible game design practice, perhaps. At least the game has a life beyond our dining room table now. And we've enjoyed playing it for several years now.

Currently, I'm trying to develop a Muay Thai card game where you play attacks and bid energy cards to see which succeeds. You can redeem energy cards by resting. The value of energy cards you can redeem by resting is limited by the actual number of energy cards you have remaining in your hand. In other words, be wise how you pace yourself and what cards you choose to make up your fighter to begin with. If you get hit while resting, it really hurts. I've play tested that one central idea and it's quite exciting. It's taking me a long time to settle on other features of the game. But since this is a game I'll be playing with my wife, rather than my dad, it'll have to be quick to learn and face paced. For that reason, it might well have some popular appeal and I might do *something* with it. I'm also setting myself the limitation that it has to be able to be played on a small area, like an aeroplane dinner tray.

I've been a member here for well over a year now, but not introduced myself, so I'm grateful to you, Supertooned, for starting this thread. Introducing yourself to a forum by simply asking how everyone is is a brilliant idea!

Succeeding. But I'm assured it's completely irrational and I should stop worrying about it.

Can I post again? can I? Pleeeeeze, pleezyy pleeze pleezy!

I'm TIRED.
Work is going great, investing most of my creativity into lesson plans and activities in class. A little frustrated since the level of English in most of my groups is very, very low and the centre in which I work has decided that they get 4 weeks of English, no more, I get to see them for 1 week of those 4, sometimes 2 if things go well.

I find myself in a highly complicated and difficult to define relationship which it turns out is unpleasant not only for me, but for the other party concerned. It would be prudent to simply end it, but the problem was that this developed out of a strong friendship and I don't want that to go. It is sometimes difficult to see the lines between "just friends" and other things in this situation.
Distracting.

I've been working on ideas for board games and writing stories but not getting very far because of work and other distractions.
I need a long, long break from work, but I can't have that because if I were to stop working I'd starve to death and be thrown out of the country (while starving). I miss my friends and family back home. A lot.
Going back would make me miss my friends here though.

That's how I am now. How are you?

Life is kind of rough.

Life is kind of rough. Getting married in August ( planning and doing most myself since my fiancé works 70 hours a week). Finding somewhere for us to live and moving in the next week.
I'm also launching my first Kickstarter in June. Game is solid and complete I'm just doing everything myself and it gets hard at times.
I also work from home and make a decent amount of money but always want to work more and every job I get collides with my fiancée schedule.
Apart from all that life is good lol.

Doing alright all things

Doing alright all things considered.
We're currently facing an economical recession here in Argentina so things are getting harder and harder. I have a job that I'm not entirely happy with and I want to strike on my own but it's very hard, specially now, but besides that I'm positive.
My biggest fear right now is getting stuck, not being able to improve my life for me and the wife. I just have to keep on working hard.
