Dawn: "A new order" (working title)

This introduction text is still very rough. typo's will occur and I'm not the greatest in English (I'm Swedish and not drunk, sorry in advance for strange grammar ^^.)

Summary:
Dawn is a game for 1-4 that lets the player/s create and customize a Order of Exorcist hunters. Theme is set in a medieval horror were demon-spawn, undead creatures, witches, and bat like horrors roam the village outskirts and forests. The players will have to make decisions that alter the game play and rules along the game. Players will play against the game but also be able for 1 player to play as the horror.( more to come...)

Meta Summary:
In essence i even want start the game of in a brutal mode where only 30%of characters will survive the first mission.
And the players will have to make due and set up a strategy based on the survived characters special ability's.( more to come...)

Personally i love to play tactical miniatures games as well as coop board games to ( more to come...)

Similarities in other games:( Mechanics & components )
I wanted to list elements found in other games to describe and give you a feeling off the game.

( Xcom series )
- this game originated from my daydream thought "huh wonder how xcom would work with swords?"
( Arkham horror)
- Im fond of the how the game keeps getting more challenging, and sense of emergency when portal opens.
( Space Hulk)
-I have never been able to play this game, only the Death Angel card game. but ive done my research and i really like the hidden 1-3 counters of the Genestealers. Its a good mechanic to keep the players uncertain of the situation and keep guessing what strengths the enemy will pop up in.
( Castle ravenloft )
- I think this game has the one of the better examples of a board games equivalent to "AI" driven monsters. what i don't like is how you can predict the actions of the creatures well in advance. (that got to be changed ;- )
( Descent 2nd Edition)
- the customization of character classes cards is neat, but that could be over kill... who knows.
Also i envy the miniature components in FF games overall, defensively will strive for that level.

( more to come...) Always open to suggestions
