Gladiators - arena layout

Gladiators - arena layout

This is the planned layout for the Gladiators game board.

The numbers on the hexes are used to help set up the game. One player rolls 3d12 and places an arena feature in the marked hex. Rince and repeat until the required number of elements is in place.

This system also lets elements be added dynamically as the match goes on. In general, if you roll an empty space, something new appears. If you roll a number where a game element exists, it might trigger something. if you roll a number that is occupied by a player, that player gets a bonus.

Oops, old version

Oop, uploaded the older version. In this image I made a mistake: the minimum roll of 3d12 is 3, not 1. The first hex should be number 3, and the last should be number 36.

In the final version, I changed the numbers in the 'corners' (1, 6, 29, 34) to 3, 4, 35 and 36 and updated some other hex numbers, due to the statistical distribution which occurs when you roll 3d12 (i.e. you tend to get a sum somwhere in the twenties).
