"Originally, it was a challenge to myself to create a new game idea or gameplay mechanic once per day for 300 days. I failed this challenge and stopped updating around entry #050. However, it is still my intention to fill up this notebook of ideas to the full three hundred one day, though at a more leisurely pace. "
Basically, this guy thought of 300 mechanics he had never seen before, and put them on a website; However, he did mean these to be used in Video games, not board games. Most of them are for turn based games, which can easily be used for board games, and those that aren't can still give inspiration.
I just discovered this post. The link is wetting my apetite. Thanks!
Awesome. Thanks for the link!

Many of what he presents is darn near or exact to what has been running through my mind since I started really thinking about designing board games. It's a breath of fresh air to read these things. I haven't formalized or articulated my ideas like he has....and not explored them nearly as far as he has. There's a forum on that site that looks good to.
Is it some kind of mini games illustrated by video game graphics?
It's more like ideas about video (or board) games, with graphics.
the Legend of zelda! ... my favorite game
