Our game Zoomaka just reached PnP status. The game in its original form has been played a lot by me, my girlfriend and our friends. Now we would like to know what others think!

I looked at your rules for a few minutes this morning while eating breakfast. It looks like you have a playable set of rules, based on a 8-minute read through, but I haven't actually played it.
What I have played though, is a card game called Monopoly Deal that seems to be very similar to yours with just a different theme. I'm not sure if you've heard of the game, but it is probably at least worth taking a look at since it appears like you share many of the same concepts and mechanics, especially regarding your use of sets/sections and 'attacking' other players via the entry fees (called 'rent' in Monopoly Deal).
I have never published a game, and I don't think being similar to another game means your game will fail/succeed, but I'd want someone to tell me if one of my games had a 'competitor' out there already.

Hi I know of the game and we have based our game on that game. We have evolved quite a few concepts though and tried to make the game more fair / dynamic. Also we have worked out ways of simplifying the game play by removing quite a few exceptions.
If you like monopoly deal I would say you will love our game. I do not think we are close enough either that you can say that we copied the game. But I am still glad you mentioned that you noticed the similarity.
Do you think the similarity could be a problem for us?
