Free-For-All Dungeon Brawl

So in lieu of working on Tile Pile, I've created a new game. No name yet, so it's the title of this entry for now.

You play as 1 of 8 RPG classes, each with their own deck of abilities. Players make 20 card decks made up of their ability cards, and weapon, armor, shield, and item cards. Once finished, players place a miniature in a 5x1 board which makes up the dungeon.

Players draw 5 cards on their turn. Any cards they have in their hand at the start of their next turn are discarded. You have the option to keep one and draw to max hand size.
Each player takes turns making 2 move actions or 1 attack and 1 move action in any order. You can take any number of quick actions as well.
When you play an attack, you deal wound to the defender unless the defender has armor which he then discards. Any wounds not negated become wound cards which go into your discard pile. Once the wound pile runs out, the player with the least amount of wounds wins.
Currently supports 3-5 players and I'm working on a 3-on-3 and 4-on-4 team battle.

Everything was cut out and written on index cards, then sleeved which means I don't have a digital copy to print and play. But that DOES mean I can make/change cards on the fly. It had its first play test yesturday and the review was shining. Only little card balancing quips which have been taken care of.

I'm really excited to be working on this with the enjoyment my play testers had.

5x1 board? Is that a typo?

If I understand right, it's a deck-building game of sorts, although you are mostly adding wounds to the mix. I think you might find some inspiration in FFG's Arcana. It has a very different theme, but some of the mechanics could inform your own.

I'm assuming that the discard is reused once the deck is exhausted, in which case, is the penalty for having a wound card just that it displaces a useful one?

It's not a typo. You fight in

It's not a typo.

You fight in what is essentially a big, long corridor. The deck building is the beginning of the game and shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes if you're familiar with your classes abilities. Discard is shuffled once deck is exhausted. The wounds hamper your ability to be effective in battle, much like wounds in Nightfall or Legendary. I own the first edition of Arcana. I haven't played 2nd edition. That's bidding with gang members to get more gang members, right? Not really any combat but thanks for mentioning it.

Bidding for people, objects,

Bidding for people, objects, and locations based on different sets of values. Not combat-themed, but combat is just another interchangeable overlay for the mechanics of a game. One simple tweak turns Monopoly into a wargame, for example.

Lifeboat-esque?

So the movement is just switching your position in line in the hallway? Is this a similar setup as the Lifeboat card game?

No. Though I have not played

No. Though I have not played lifeboat. LOL.

Movement is to get closer or farther from an enemy. The ranger, for example, suffers a penalty to damage if he attacks a player in his square. Warrior's bull rush does more damage if it hits someone at the end of either end of the map.
