What mechanics to use?

This game in essence is a variation of "superstore tag", superstore tag is a friendly game of tag, but in a big superstore. In my game, everyone is dealt 1 card (their assassin), every player has a target to "kill" (tag on the back of your target qualifies as a kill) and a pursuer (trying to do the same to them). There's a stipulation though, every assassin kills in a different way. If your assassin is a prowler, then you have to be alone with your target to kill them. Where as another assassin card says that you must be with a third party to pull off the kill.

What other mechanics could be used to make this game more interesting? And what could some other stipulations be for assassins to pull off an assassination?

So how do you kill off the other assassin? Can you give more information on the game play please.

What about having tokens for resources that strengthen's the assassins power.

I'm just going to point out

I'm just going to point out that AssassinCon is already a game with nearly identical mechanics to what you are describing. You should check it out. It's currently on Kickstarter by Mayday Games.

More information

So this game is meant to be played with a group of people (4+) at a walmart or at any big event (maybe even a convention). The way you pull off an assassination is by simply sneaking up behind your target and tapping them on the back. Each person is given a different target.

The only thing that gets in the way of an assassination is the condition to which you must follow like "No one must see you kill your target" or something of that nature for every character.

So A's target is "B" and A's pursuer is"D".
A>B>C>D>A

I've thought about tokens and needing some to execute a kill. But I just don't know how to go about putting them into practice.

I actually may help kickstart

I actually may help kickstart that. I saw it a few days ago and drew the same conclusion. I guess I just want to make a "life size" version of that (not exactly though).
