Hi,
I'm hosting a little design contest over at BGG to have people design some card games for two players that are playable with standard decks of cards (or playing tarot cards). I thought perhaps some of the folks over here might be interested in participating; mostly for the design challenge but perhaps also for the Geekgold (the prize pool is currently at 84.71GG). The rules for the contest are posted here.

Your devilish contest has me working on something. I haven't openly designed anything before this, but I've decided to take this challenge and see if I can make the magic work. It's the "proof in the pudding" thing....or the "walk the talk"....if I win...which I doubt, I've be using the GG to use for a challenge my son and I are working on for a contest.
Your challenge has taken an idea I was thinking about and made me change it....which has actually improved upon the idea I had and made it better. That's a bonus. :)
I've added this to the front page "news" feed here at BGDF.
I was going to run the July GDS and had planned on doing something with standard cards ... but I plan to point folks toward your BGG contest instead.
