The players each control a race of creatures crawling ashore on a beautiful island. On this island the players compete to expand their population, and avoiding getting eaten by predators. As the players can evolve their creature during the game, a predator is always controlled by another player.
The game is won by the player who first reaches 20 Victory Points, and points are aquired through fulfilling small evolutionary goals that can be procured during the game. There are 16 different Goals in the game, such as being the fastest growing race, strongest, occupying most regions, which creates multiple paths to victory.

Are in a heavy design and playtesting process now, and expect to have the final prototype ready in late september. I currently only work on a swedish rulebook, so I doubt posting will be of much interest, but I will upload our playtesting board as well as some other images later.

Playtester needed ?

Im really interested in following your progress, i have a prototype game with a similar theme called "Species".

I use bidding mechanisms where the players accuire DNA and try to be the "Dominant Species".

Fertility, survivability and other statistics are tracked and scored, the player at the end of the game with the most VP are the winner.

Alternative scenarios include, Mixed genetics - teamplay and King of the kill - a last man standing scenario.

Right now im writing rules for "Species Grand Melee" where any number of players can compete against eachother.

I have no problem whatsoever in reading your rulebook since im from Sweden myself.

Thanks for your kind offer,

Thanks for your kind offer, Candika. As soon as I have the first rulebook ready, I'll post it then for you.
Feel free to send me anything from your game if you want me to take a look at it, as I am equally interested in what you've managed to conjure up with the evolutionary theme.
