Looks Fun!

Nice work with the commercial! The stop-motion animation style works well with the rotating dice and movement/upgrading of the zombies.

Best of success to you with your campaign. :)

For a zombie theme this

For a zombie theme this actually looks surprisingly good.

What's the planned price-tag?

Thanks!

Thank you very much!
At the moment the price will be in the $25-$30 range.

For some reason...

I'm not "into" Zombie games... I don't see why it's such a popular genre/theme. Personally I prefer the "Fantasy Medieval Hero" genre/theme. Which is probably why I designed "Quest Adventure Cards(tm)" and am working on a Second Edition of the game...

Really don't get the Zombie "attraction". But hey, that's just me...

Thanks for sharing :)

Having said that

I do think that your "Basics" and "Commercial" VIDEOS are AWESOME!!! I don't know how much you invested in having these made - but I'm sure they will be well worth it when you launch a KS campaign.

Again lots of people LIKE "Zombie" games - so you'll have a lot of people that will probably LIKE YOUR Zombie Game. But you may face criticism of people who like things like "Dawn of the Dead", "The Walking Dead", etc.

Just because you have a Zombie game doesn't mean all Zombie-lovers will like it. But like I said there is a BIG number of Zombie-lovers - so they can pick and choose if they like or dislike your game.

But those VIDEOS will help in getting a lot of people "excited" about your game! Best of luck to you and your game...

Right, it makes sense! Some

Right, it makes sense!
Some genres have a much wider demographical range then others, but that's okay!
Thanks again for your feedback, I appreciate it.
I'm a videographer/illustrator so I was able to put the videos together at no cost, except for that of the time spent ;)

What about the "actors"?

How did you convince people to dye their hands GREEN? And what about the main actor who is frantic about his survival? Did you have to pay him???

Or what about the "Set" of the house with the door and window? Who created that?

IDK but I would say that the creation of that type of Video (those) would cost maybe around $10k when everything is taken into account (Like lighting, acting, etc.)

Can you tell us HOW you made these Videos?

You say you are a Videographer, which means you know how to make film... But there is more that just the filming alone for these Videos to be done...

I own a decent quality

I own a decent quality shotgun mic + dslr + a range of lenses that I use for my freelance video/photography work. Growing up, I was heavily into independent film so I've got a bit of experience wearing all the hats from writing, lighting, sound, editing, etc...

The 'actors' are all good friends that were nice enough to help me out :)

The 'set' happens to be an old house that sits on a friend's land. He was happy to let me use it!

Indie Spirit

It's always cool to hear about it when "everything falls into place" with an indie project. I've watched both videos - had a good laugh with the how-to-play video - and it's pretty clear to me that you've put a lot of your heart into this.

Please keep us posted as to when your Kickstarter goes live. I'll be there. :)
