I guess this topic sits somewhere between "Publication" and "Water Cooler", so for lack of a "General" forum any longer, here we go...
So I'm going to GAMA (as a publisher attached to a distributor - Impressions). (YAY!). If you know me, as many of you here do, you know I'm normally the advice giver, but today I come to you clueless.
You may also know I have product, have been to several cons, and host a booth and several free seminars at Gen Con every year... but GAMA... see, that's a whole different beast, and I can't seem to find much info on what I should expect, what I should bring, who I should expect to talk to and about what, will there be sales... I only now where it is, and that is very little.
Anyone been as a vendor with a booth? - What do I need / should I expect?
Anyone been as a retailer? - What do you look for / what pleases you?
Anyone been as a distributor? - Do you come to me, or should I come to you?
Basically... tell me EVERYTHING you know! - Don't be shy. Multiple perspectives very welcome.
