Hey there!
My name is Lyric Goins; I am the Vice President of the Dwarven Tavern. DT is a game review company in short form, but long form we do reviews, interviews, podcasts, promotions, and more. We have been pretty bogged down with RPGs, but because board games are both a well-loved style of game AND are making a comeback in recent years, I'm taking it upon myself to search out more board games to review and advertise.
I was given the go-ahead to chat it up here, so I thought I'd extend the invitation! If any of you guys and gals would like for my company to review your things, just hit me up! So enough about that; I am originally an Ohioan but currently live in SC with my husband, who is a sailor in the Navy, and our 5 pets (3 cats and 2 dogs). Hair dye is my hobby; you'll never catch me with the same two colors in a row. I am a comic book artist and illustrator, and I sing on the occasion I get around to it. I also do video work with the company above. I'm kind of a jill-of-all-trades, if you will. I also speak Japanese and I'm self-teaching Swedish, as my bestie is a Swede. and blah blah blah I could go on forever and still miss details lol. I have heard someone call it a renaissance, which is awesome! However, our company isn't quite new, necessarily. We're just expanding to other communities to try and get our outreach to a larger audience. We frequent Gen Con and youtube quite a lot ;)
