I'm hoping to get some help on this as it is a bit of a make or break for my game. Can someone point me in the direction of a manufacturer that will make custom shaped tiles? Lookingfor chipboard cut into various clusters of hexes. Does anyone know if this is a significantly more expensive process than using standard shapes? Thanks in advance for your help.

Custom cutouts

The Game Crafter can do custom cutouts in any shape you want. I haven't tried it or compared the pricing to their standard shapes, but I don't think it's too much of a difference. They have detailed instructions on creating a template for the shape to upload with your graphics.

Agree, The Game Crafter is excellent for creating custom tiles; and they go behind hexes and hex-clusters.

If you are going the traditional manufacturing route (I'm referring to large orders), then just about any of the manufacturers will. But I'm going to guess TGC is just what you need.

Firstly, wonderful website and thank you for your informative replies. When going to mass-production, will the Chinese manufacturer optimize pre-press files themselves, adding the notches so the tiles don't fall out and creating optimal paths for the laser? Or, is that something that one has to do themselves (or contract out), prior to manufacturing?

I'm wondering if it will benefit me there, or just when ordering from you guys. Much appreciated.
