Kris,
Don't be too hard on yourself...it's still an impressive showing for a 1st-time designer. Also, having "TradeWorlds" (formerly Tradewars) as one of a dozen "most anticipated games of 2018" on Jamey Stegmaier's list certainly hurt, either.
All-in-all, great job, my friend. I'm happy to be part of the project!

With all of the re-design of the card templates and all of the NEW content we are adding to the "Explorer Core", I too am anxiously waiting for the final product to arrive at my doorstep! LOL
Right now, a little update, I am waiting to digitally "proof" the game and be certain that everything looks good to go to print (for prototypes that need some more playtesting)... A couple scenarios need playtesting and the Planetary Expansion also needs playtesting too!
Not too much... Hopefully this month we tackle those three (3) items and knock them off the list...

well done mate - tough category and so much competition! Knossus made it into the Family category (much less competition!) and just missed historical sadly but still position 25 which I'm pretty happy with.
now to figure out how the voting for phase 2 works...

Well it was in all fairness the designers from BGDF and our Backers/Fans who made this victory possible. Too bad we're not in position #15... Because you actually WIN a "ribbon" if we could manage that.
But that means +50 more votes. I doubt that will happen... We've taped-out most of our resources at BGG ... So about 130+ nominations from Fans and we've got about 170+ fans. So we're 2/3 the way...
Don't think it will happen. But we're still trying to do our best and get the highest position possible!
