In this game, players are different baby delivery theories, racing to prepare and delivery their baby to his/her parents in an anything goes fight for birth rights!

The image of the game is being prepared.

Components:

Game Board
(4)Character Standees
(4)Baby Tokens
(35) Tiles
(12) Baby Supply Tokens

Player Count:

1-4
Approximate Play Time:

5-30 minutes (depending on player count)

More about the game:

Before the game is played, you will choose a player to shuffle the tiles and put them in a draw pile. The first player will draw and place a tile wherever they choose on the board. The following players will choose to either draw and place a tile or move their characters on the board. You will have to create pathways to different places and tiles on the board to collect their baby tokens and baby supply tokens before they are able to race to the delivery room and deliver the baby to their mommies and daddies.

{I'd like to take this moment to thank these artists for their artwork that is not owned by me, nor will it be in the final game. It's only for playtesting: Annette Marnat, Guarav, Olga Demidova, Mahoucarp, Paul Cohen, Mark Oftedal, and Adam Dyer}

bottom right board quadrant image is incorrect (is same image as entire small board)

needs a gridwork on the board to force your rectangular tiles to particular locations - a square grid overlay with a tile covering 2 squares would do that - which may force some reposition of board elements

I had trouble (just from looking at it), figuring out what the board was all about. It looks like it has a path, etc., but then you're putting stuff all over it? Sort of at random, but making new paths?

(also, I can't read the words on the board :) )

I must have uploaded the incorrect image, I will fix that immediately, thank you for letting me know!

My last iteration had white squared overlay on it; I will bring it back.

I completely understand that. I have been working on my own board layout, but it wasn't ready in time to playtest, which is why this was the stand-in. The board will actually look nothing like this, I just used a generic map with interesting design choice as a placeholder. I think it was written in Russian ::awkward laugh::

I have finished the initial sketches for the board and will be working on digitizing it today, with the plan of having it finished by this weekend. Also have the other sketches worked out for the tokens and tiles, so I'll be working on those as well and hope to have them finished by the end of the weekend (may be too hopeful on that...)

I would love to finish the game with the board being the main map, and the tile cards actually be completely see though so that all you have the illusion that the pathways and tokens are actually on the map. Haven't tested it yet, though. What do you think of that idea?

Oh, lol, well, if the graphics on the board aren't part of it, then I would be less confused.

The board that I'm creating for the game is FAR less complex and have zero roads or pathways on it. I got a good bit of it yesterday and will be continuing it today. I'll post it on here for your opinion in the next couple days.
