I need to clean up my belongings, I have a lot of generic components like cubes, bingo chips, poker chips, pawns, dices, card board, etc.
I want to keep components that have an high probability to be used. Therefore, if a piece can have multiple uses, it seems like a good choice to keep.
For example, I have wooden 1/2 inch cubes that could be used as stacking pawns, cubes or even dices. So they have a lot of potential.
Plastic and wood are relatively sure bets, card board is debatable.
I got some printed stuff on paper or card board, that might change with further designs, so it might not worth keeping. I have obsolete cards or small piece of cards board I could use to make prototype cards. But it might be a better solution to just print it out again.
I have some card board maps and tokens I made, I wonder if its work keeping. Having valid game ideas that could potentially use those prints could be another factor of decision.
How would you decide what to keep?
I'll try to post some pictures below. Many things from the generic components below where thrown away already, I am making an additional clean up to save space before moving:

I need to move everything into an 10'x10'x8' locker. So compression is necessary.
