I was stuck between a rock and a hard place when Canada Post Workers announced that they are going on STRIKE! That left me with no option to ship my backers in the USA before the November 1st Deadline.
Whatever will happen on that day, who can tell. But rest assured I found an ALTERNATIVE to Canada Post which is FASTER, CHEAPER and more RELIABLE (insurance)...
I would recommend that The Game Crafter do the same either with some kind of deal with Easy Ship (https://www.easyship.com) or Pirate Ship (https://www.pirateship.com) or some other 3PL shipping platform. I used neither of these because I found a LOCAL shipping company that does shipping for far LESS than Canada Post.
Bottom line Canada Post Workers are GREEDY. The company has offered like 13% salary increases over 4 years. People are losing their jobs, look at Amazon will cut corporate employees by 30,000 world-wide. And these people are being offered a steady position with a guaranteed increase and still this is NOT enough?!?! WTF...
Go F- yourselves. Sorry for the profanity but this is ridiculous. Who is EXPECTED to PAY for those Salary Increases??? The people shipping. Canada Post is already EXPENSIVE as it is... It's like 3x the price of the USPS in the USA. And there are other parties that can get even LOWER USPS shipping too...
Sorry for the RANT. But ridiculous is just plain ridiculous.
