So I've become a bit LAZY with "Quest Adventure Cards(tm)" the Reboot (QuestAC_v1.5). I've decided not to make this product in China. Instead, I am going to rework the "packaging" going from a 72-Card Tuck Box to a 90-Card Tuck Box for reasons of having a Trilingual Product (3 Rule Folios), one in English, one in French and one in Spanish.
The plan is to TRANSLATE to Spanish for a Spanish Rule Folio because I want to SELL in the USA and since Spanish is very common in the USA, I felt like it would be a better choice and to offer three (3) versions for people who understand Spanish.
But since I have ROOM in the 90-Card Tuck Box... I can afford to package three (3) Folios and that's the NEW plan. I'm not going to make any money off of the Reboot... But at this point, I don't really care. It's a simple game for kids to enjoy with their friends.
We'll see how it sells considering that "The Game Crafter" (TGC) will be my indication that the game is made and sold in the USA. I asked for permission to use the TGC logo on my packaging and they said "OK". I may invest some money to help with the Spanish Translation which I already have most of the cards translated... I am going to reduce the text on Event cards to allow for 3-Languages and that should be that.
Same goes for the Packaging too... I've decided to NOT pursue QuestAC_v2 ... Because it's just not worth the effort. I've become more and more aware that my Self-Publishing Goals are more IMPORTANT than making a bunch of games that nobody wants to buy or play.
The Spanish/French versions should be also Educational in that someone who speaks English can learn some French or Spanish in the process of playing the game. These kind of Educational opportunities for kids is great in addition to be a good game for kids aged 9+... Even if we sell to 12+ due to the TGC restriction in marketing to younger children.
I don't know if parents would BUY the game for their children to play... But it's a simple and easy game to play and there isn't much in terms of MASTERING because it's different game each time you play (due to dealing and hands) and so you do best with the cards you've gathered.
So this is GREAT NEWS: a TRILINGUAL product...! Excellent idea. And with the improved packaging makes for a better product to sell. TBD. It's a work-in-progress (WIP) and I will handle it soon enough! Work on this in the coming days...

I don't want to make a CCG (Collectible Card Game) and I want to take the current Reboot and IMPROVE UPON it. Spanish is the BEST possible ADDITION to make ONE (1) Version of the game that can be played by most players.
And I will STREAMLINE "Events" so that there is enough for THREE (3) Languages.
Jessica already told me that many of the "Events" are too wordy. I'm going to get her opinion on the SPANISH and although I took Spanish in College ... I am not FLUENT in the language... Whereas Jessica is.
So I hope she can HELP... We'll have to wait and see.
I have three (3) locations on the Cards for "Wording": Side (English), Top (French), and Bottom (Spanish). Will make this a UNIVERSAL Edition. We'll see I hope to get this DONE before "Christmas".
Cheers all.
