It might not be obvious, but this picture (and the other from this game) are posted to the "GDS Images" since they are part of one of the GDS Images for this month (November 2009).
It's not my work -- I'm definitely not that good of an artist. (But, c'mon Bill -- do you really need to ding me on graphics quality for a game at protospiel? Last I checked that was a prototype of a less-than-half-baked game I brought there ... and it's still folded-up in the pocket of that computer bag I used to carry my stuff around that weekend.) ;-p
And ... so much for the author or an entry remaining anonymous until all authors are revealed after voting is calculated ... probably doesn't matter much though. ;-)
These look great! Did you draw all the art yourself?
The font you are using in the red, yellow, green, blue things could probably be a bit different, though. It looks like one of the basic windows fonts.
Also, you should consider deflating the item prices by about 10x, since the numbers will fit on the coins better that way. I assume they are always in increments of 50?
@ mdiehr: ty. yes, i did the art myself. btw: i use the same dragon artwork in another game of mine (elemental clash)...
and you are right, i should probably use a different font for the stats. i will also consider deflating the prices/rewards, though i think it doesn't look that bad as it is now...
@ dralius: the game is still in development. as a matter of fact, it is my entry for the gds november 2009 challenge :D
