As the title implies, I am looking for playtesters for a game in an advanced state of development. If you have a group of friends who would like to try something new and (as yet) unpublished, great! In exchange for your honest and critical review of the rules, I am offering a free board game which you may keep. I'll also take names, so there's a chance that playtesters will appear in the published rulebook! This of course presumes that the game is published and that the publisher (probably not me) is okay with that.
The game is cooperative, meaning that all players are working together to defeat an NPC (in this case, a house fire). A good model for this sort of game is Pandemic.
Anybody interested? Reply or send me a PM and I'll get back to you.
I have found my playtesters already, so this offer is closed for now. I'll let you all know if the situation changes.
If (really, when, since you'll usually want new testers for new rounds of blind playtesting) it opens up again I'd definitely be interested. My fiancée and I love Pandemic.
If you would be interested I would be willing to read the rules and see if my group might want to give it a try. One advantage there is that if it's totally awesome, then Tasty Minstrel might want to publish it. I make no promises though, the coop genre is a tricky one, and a really good truly cooperative game is elusive thus far.
