Captain's Cross is the first fully-realized game that I have been able to produce. I began work on the concept in 2005, feverishly fleshing out the first draft of rules in 1-2 months. In that time, I printed my board, and selected and painted my first set of game pieces (still being used in my prototype edition). I have had two other revised editions of the rules that continue to improve upon the strategy of the game. This journal is created as a brainstorming tool, so many of the game's details and rules will not be discussed here, just my own thoughts as I tweak and polish the game.
