360 Chess

Here is a chess variant that I have designed: "360 Chess"

The only thing I ask is that if you play the game, if you could kind enough to let me know what you think of it (good or bad), that would be nice.

Also, there is no ready-made board for this that I can point to easily.
If you have a Byzantine Chess or Round Chess board already; it is identical to this board.
Otherwise, my best suggestion is to make it out of cardboard as I did.

Interesting variant, I especially liked the story of the inspiration.

It seems that with the shortened the pawns are probably almost as powerful as the bishops. The short board cripples bishops and the sideways movement empowers pawns.

I love your variant idea! It´s so dynamic and "simple" in a good way.

I'm working on a second one as well, based on a normal board, but more addressing the interests of the events of the 360 Chess introduction's listed game.

I'll put this up as well when the rule-set is ready.
