For a while now I've been developing a game called Capoterra. This is a tile laying/resource management game where players explorer and develop the Capoterra region of southern Sardinia, also know historically as Rome's granary.
I've made the game available through my website to print and play. At the moment I would love some feedback, even if it's just on the rules and component design (I appreciate not many people will want to print 4 sheets of tiles and then spend the time mounting them on card and cutting them out).
The site is at http://www.awakener76.net/games/capoterra and there are links there for the pdf manual and a zip of all the printable game components. There are also suggestions for producing the components from the printouts and suggested game pieces to use from other game or get hold of from other sources (e.g. meeplepeople.com, etc.)
Thanks
Andy

Tile placement
At one point, you say "The only exception is wasteland tiles and rock tiles" (which is two exceptions) and then later you also say that city tiles are excepted.
You may want to try something like...
Tiles with roads must be placed such that existing roads (on tiles already in play) do not become "dead ends" at the edge of the newly placed tile.
As a passing note, you mention wasteland tiles in the setup section, before they are pictured or discussed.
Manual
Thanks, I'll update and upload the manual tomorrow night.
I also think I'll add a paragraph at the start of the setup section discussing the different tile types.
i.e.
Give each player a capital city tile, removing any left over from the game.
Separate the village tiles and place them in a pile next to the game play area.
Put all the terrain tiles in the tile bag, keeping one wasteland tile to use in order to start the game.
That should make it clear early on, especially if I include pictures of the different tile types next to each of the above three sentences.
New Manual Uploaded
I've uploaded the revised manual, and also I've compressed the images within the manual, thus reducing the manual size from over 4MB to around 800KB. When I get a chance I will produce a lower res copy of the game components to provide a download somewhat smaller than the current 18MB download.
Update
Did a whole load more playtesting over the weekend. This has resulted in a couple of changes to the manual to clarify some rules and to balance the early game a bit more, also made a small change to the die so that event cards are only drawn on average every other turn, rather than every turn.
The updated manual can be downloaded from http://www.awakener76.net/games/capoterra/files/manual.pdf
I've also uploaded a couple of photos of games being played:

From my web stats it looks like 1 or 2 copies of the tiles and cards have been download and between 4 and 6 copies of the manual, so a big thanks to everybody who's had a look, any feedback would be much appreciated.
