I'm creating a fishing game and I have many resources, so the game is prone to a European style. I would like to add an indirect interaction. What are they and how to apply an indirect interaction?

I replied you on the italian forum Inventoridigiochi.it but I 'll put some thoughts here as well for the acknowledgement of the bgdf community.
The game has indirect conflict whenever a game mechanic allow a player to play his second best move in order to negate to other players to make their best move.
Can you narrow this definition in a more accurate way?
