Distributors & Delano
Blackhawk is shut down - has been for a few months. I suppose it's just the Big 2 now.
Delano sees to be non-responsive - we had a few quotes going on with them and nothing for two weeks.
Does not look good - I heard Avalanche Press had some titles with them and had to re-source, so the rumors may be true.

I've been holding off posting because there's still a bunch of stuff that's up in the air - like whether someone will be buying the game operations outright so we can get back up and running soon. Keep us posted sir. Maybe someone who is in the publishing business will look long and hard about trying to their hand at the printing business and buy Delano's game division.
I'll be praying that you and your colleagues hear some good news regarding the business quickly.

It took 12 weeks for the business I worked for to be reopened. We then had to wait another 3 for the "recall". I don't know what was worse - knowing I had been laid off and free to look elsewhere or being in limbo waiting to see if management would "pick me".

I may hit these guys up for a quote... I am dealing with a company that deals with China... So I'm getting a pretty good price... But I am waiting for a price correction following the changes that I have made to the game.
Update: Delano still has not responded for my request for a quote on the 21 October. I sent an *check-in* e-mail on the 24 October - still no response... Although they may well be *active*, their customer service seems to be rather questionable...
Note: I did get a brief response on 21 October saying that they would look into my request for a quote. Just haven't heard anything since...

Does anyone know what the status of Delano services is?
I live in Kalamazoo MI, and according to their website they are located in Battle Creek now, so that would be an incredibly convenient 30 minutes away from me.

They've responded to me as well
I messaged them and they responded to me as well. It seems they've moved from their previous location, but they are still up and running.
Out of curiosity, how did the quote compare to quotes from other places? I've requested a quote, but haven't heard back yet on that.
