Jumps/flash drives are your friend. I can sympathize....after loosing some stuff myself. :)
That's Unfortunate
I can empathize with how much that hurts. Nothing quite like losing the rulebook you were about to send in to a publisher along with two other projects, one completed and the other nearly so.
To which I add my wisdom: Backing up is the first step forward.
