Improved Con Sponsorship

I've just uploaded the photos Jaime Habel sent me upon his return from Gamicon. Jaime was the first person to accept our Designer Table Sponsorship Program.
Jaime had never been to a game con before. He said he had a good time, got to meet up with a bunch of people, promoted TGC and his games, and over-all it was a good experience. Candidly he also said that he wants to do it again, but he needs to figure out how to get more of the people that walk by the booth to stop by and hear his pitch about his games.
So with that feedback, we are going to make a few changes to help ensure that both TGC and your games get more exposure:

  1. We're going to give you a bit more money as an incentive to go to bigger cons. As much as $500 for the bigger cons.
  2. We're going to print 11x17 posters for you (you supply the artwork) to help draw the people in to your booth.
  3. We're changing the rule about giving the gift certificates to the con for a raffle. If you want to give them out yourself you're welcome to do that.
  4. We've added a whole new list of salesmanship tips and tricks to the designers page to help you do a better job of selling your game. To some of you these may be old hat, but to others it's virgin territory.
  5. We're getting rid of all remaining remnants of "co-hosts" since they appear to be hard to find.

We hope that these improvements ensure even more successful cons for everyone that runs TGC Designer Table's in the future.
