2 New Games

Hi.
This is my first blog her at BGDF. At this point I have 2 different games that might be ready for Alpha test in a week or two. The first game is a hunter board game cold hunters. It's a 2-4 player game. The other is a game cold Deadline. That's a 2 player card game. Not a ccg. I will need someone to test the games when they are ready. And someone that can help with the graphics. If you think you can help me in any way, please take contact.

Arkopolis Engines - Join the Crew

Hi fellow BGDFers. For those of you who were following our massive blog posts a while ago will know that Clever Mojo and myself are working on steampunk board game called Arkopolis Engines. Players take the role of the crew of great steam-powered "Engines" scavenging ruined cities for equipment, resources and ancient artifacts.

We need crewmen for the Engines and, as a way of saying thank you for the support we have received, we want to give you guys the opportunity to help out by creating crewmen for the prototype and possibly for the final product.

Utopia Engine Review

I discovered a one-player game yesterday by the name of Utopia Engine. It was web published this year by Nick Hayes and is free for download here. The theme of the game is mesmerizing. You are an aged Artificier trying to save the world from Doomsday by searching for and activating ancient artifacts. Once you’ve found them, you must do your best to rebuild the legendary Utopia Engine or the world will cease to exist. That will get your heart beating, right?

Back at BGDF with Nevermore Games

It's been awhile since I've been on the bgdf. I've had a couple different user names over the years, but I'll be sticking with this one now (since it's my name after all). After spending a lot of time on bgdf and bgg, I took a break from perusing board game forums and the like to build a few games myself. A year later, here I am again, but this time to not only share some news, but also to become an avid user again, get feedback, give feedback, etc.

Rainy days and dice

A quick and fun game to keep the kids off the walls;

3-5 dice / player + 1 dice as target

Youngest player roll the target dice, this is the number to match with your own dice.
All players roll their dice, any dice that matches the target is set aside, the rest are used again.
The target dice is re-rolled, and all players again try to match it.

The round when any player set aside his/her last dice, s/he score 1 point for every dice the other players still have in play.

Arkopolis Engines - Offical name announcement

Here it is the new, official name for RUST. Eagle-eyed followers probably noticed a tile above the new v5.1 terrain for RUST. so without further ado RUST, is no more:

AE: ARKOPOLIS ENGINES
The end of the world was just the beginning of the adventure.

I'm sure that Mojo will kindly put up a a bigger image of the logo for AE, but for now feel free to comment on the name. For details of the where's and why's read the background for the world of AE.

Troubles with paradise

It’s been a long time since I posted to this blog but even longer since I self published anything, several years in fact.

I have been planning to publish Eden 1157B for more than a year now but development has been a bear and I don’t want to waste the time and money on a flawed product. Just when I thought I saw the light at the end of the tunnel I had it tested at Protospiel. Guess what happened. You don’t have to guess I’ll tell you but first you’ll have to understand the game a little.
