The Gamers' Table needs our help!

The Gamers' Table Needs Our Help!

The Gamers’ Table (TGT) has been a long time friend and supporter of The Game Crafter community. In late 2011, they launched a new independent edition of their show, (sponsored by TGC), and have aired 68 episodes so far. Most of these are from The Game Crafter community and they have done so without charging designers a dime. They do it for the love of games and because they enjoy supporting indie board game designers.

Introducing Sanity Tests at The Game Crafter

Sanity Tests at The Game Crafter

A sanity test is a professional review of your rules and shop page to ensure they are complete, clear, and enticing. We know it can be hard to get high quality feedback on your rules documents, so that’s why we created the sanity test.

Our sanity testers have a background in both game design and editing. A sanity test costs just $25 and here are 3 examples of the feedback you can expect:

To The Table is now reviewing games from The Game Crafter!

The Game Crafter - The Leading Print On Demand Game Publisher

To The Table is a website by David Taylor that provides reviews and discussions of board and card games. He reviews games from a family perspective to show what benefits the game offers. His purpose for the reviews is to promote the gaming hobby as a family hobby, help game buyers make educated decisions when purchasing, and help bring attention to independently designed and published games. He provides both video and written reviews, and also contributes to IndieConquest.

Kickstarter Stretch Goals

The Game Crafter - The Leading Print On Demand Game Publisher

When we ran our Shrink Wrap IndieGoGo project last year it was all about enhancing The Game Crafter service based upon features that were heavily requested. This year we decided we wanted to try to get game buyers more involved, so we did a game-oriented Village in a Box Kickstarter campaign. Our plan was to mix in stretch goals that would also enhance the service, because people have been requesting that we do exactly that.

The Flux Capacity Publishing Challenge

The Flux Capacity is an up and coming board game publisher in Canada with two great titles under their belt, and more to come soon. TFC is looking for another game to add to their line-up and that’s where you come in. This is another great board game design contest at The Game Crafter!

All TFC games have significant replay value with a strong theme and solid mechanics. Their games are targeted at families with players aged 13 or older.
