Better Paper Quality at The Game Crafter

In our continuous efforts to improve the quality of our offerings, The Game Crafter is upping the quality of the paper we print on for booklets and documents. The paper is 29% thicker and 6% brighter. This results in richer and smoother colors. In the image above, there are two sheets of paper laid side-by-side in the same photo. As you can see the color quality is dramatically improved. The paper also has a smoother finish and a bit more heft. All of this adds up to a more professional feel.

Box Freedom

By popular demand, you are now able to use boxes from The Game Crafter however you wish. Therefore you’re able to now put game pieces into tuck boxes. You’re able to use any box in our parts catalog as game packaging. However, if you try to put too much stuff into your game's box, then that will raise the shipping charges. Our system will tell you the dimensions of your game. If those dimensions are larger than the box you chose, then that means our system doesn’t think the items you have selected will fit in the box you have selected.

Token / Dice Sticker Changes

Today we’re pleased to announce some exciting, and most likely controversial, changes to our token stickers and dice stickers.
We’re now cutting them with a new process, which is far more accurate. The new print registration process we’re using has near pixel-perfect accuracy, so drift on these stickers, while still possible, is very unlikely. Any drift that remains should be less than 1mm.
