Quest Adventure Cards - Second Edition: Nebulous

I have been thinking about creating a TGC (The Game Crafter) edition of "Quest Adventure Cards(tm)", The First Edition. The game would be priced at $30.00 + Shipping. In the US that would amount to a savings of about 25% (less another 15% if you include taxes which is a total of 40% off!!!)

Tradewars - Homeworld: Publication (2x)

Although at the moment I am still waiting for a response from a publisher, I have begun searching for another *match* in terms of what I feel I am looking for in a publisher.

By accident, I have found another *small* publisher which may also be in line with what I am looking for. I will be waiting for about 1 more month to get a response from the current publisher and if we get no response, we will inevitably move on to another publisher.

Tradewars - Homeworld: Trade starships

I have been *thinking* (obviously consciously and subconsciously) about *Trade starships*. As I post responses to various topics, in the back of my mind, I am thinking about *Trade starships* and how they are not being used much...

Tradewars - Homeworld: Various Roles

One thing that I have been thinking about are certain in-game roles that are *less* used. Specifically there are three (3) roles that seem to be superfluous in a two (2) player dual.

The three (3) roles are:

1. Chancellor
2. Engineer
3. Soldier

Let's examine each one of these roles to de-mystify them...

1. Chancellor

Tradewars - Homeworld: Card corrections

So I just started to make the TGC product for the Prototype #8 corrections. These are not mistakes but the addition of the *unlocking* rules for starships in the various scenarios. In total ten (10) cards will be affected. The pricing for the correction of all four (4) prototypes is about $6.00 + Shipping.

Not too bad.

Tradewars - Homeworld: Playtesting (3x)

Today I engaged in a two (2) person playtest of the version 8 prototype of "Tradewars - Homeworld". Obviously since this game has been playtested quite a few times, each time I learn a *lesson* and take away a small but important *minor correction* that needs to apply to the game.

Of Legends And Lore: New working title

So what I have decided was that I would put aside the name of "Rain of Fire" (the 4th Version) and go with "Of Legends And Lore" (this was another WIP).

I like the title more and I think it's more in the spirit of the game.

Here are some additional notes about the *game*:

1. I am exploring developing the game for the Nintendo DSi/3DS.
2. Yes it's will probably be a *video game*.

Tradewars - Homeworld: Preliminary artwork

Sample box cover

So my artist has sent me a *low* resolution sample of the Box cover artwork...

I think it looks way kewl... I'm not certain about the logo (because it's what I used for the cardback). I have another rendition from Ed Wedig that I may use for the box - but not the cardback...

Comments welcome, please let me know what you think!

P.S.: Happy New Years to everyone! Yay!!!

Tradewars - Homeworld: Publication

So we have contacted our FIRST publisher regarding our game. Back in 2012, we contacted this publisher to ask what their *submission policy* was. The response we got back was very *positive*. And so we decided to follow-up on our initial e-mail with some details about our game.

Well it turns out, the publisher has re-contacted us and asked for us to send some sample cards and our game's rulebook. We have responded to that request and have explained that we will have some preliminary artwork in the month of January!

Tradewars - Homeworld: Playtesting (2x)

So as we speak, I am playtesting the one player scenario (The Derelict). So far the dice rolls have been good and by accident I used a 1:1 ratio for buying cards... It's cool and it works. Deck building is quicker and makes for what seems a more *rapid* game.
