More Newbies!?

Greets to Everyone!

I too am new to the BGDF. So far, I like what I've seen. Cool site and interesting people...with a similar interest in game design as mine own. Can't believe it took me so long to find this site!

Well, I am an aspiring designer, though I have no published work. I have designed two playable games that are actually enjoyable to play! I think they still need some tweaking though; but as long as it becomes a better game, I look forward to the work.

I look forward to returning and seeing you all!

PS: Is that a Robotic Zombie Chicken behind you or just a plain 'ol crispy Zombie Chicken? :)

Why not submit one to the Game Design Workshop? Read through those threads and see how it goes. I think the waiting list is about 2 months out (entries get 2 weeks each).

I had read through a number of the post commenting on Hpox's design. The creative discussions looked good. The moment I saw the listing for the Game Design Workshop and what it was for I was excited at the prospect of submitting a design and actually having other designers critic it.
Now I just need to decide which design! :)

Actually, a few days ago I finally came up with a new idea concerning one of my designs that MIGHT actually be the element I needed for added strategic play. So, I figure I might try working on that for a few days...or weeks...or months. :)

I do have a topic to bring up though. I should probably start it in the Game Design forum however.

Thanx for interest!

I too am a Newb to this site. I've been racking my brain trying to find people with a common interest and desire to create games.

Another newbie arrives. Just wanted to give out a big KUDOs to an outstanding web site. Within my short visit (soon to be perminent) I've learned alot and wanted to say, "Thank You".

As soon as I return from Iraq, I will definately put all the great information from this site to good use.

There's two internal way to send messages using the site.

PM : Private Messages
It works like regular email. Click the fifth item in the community sidebar to your left to access your "intern" mailbox. Click the small "pm" button (two people icon) just below to send me a message.

IM : Instant Messages
It works like ICQ, AIM, MSN. The "Contact Members Online!" sidebar contains the people currently online. Click on their name to send them an IM. A window will popup on their side with your message and a way to reply. If you have popup blocking software it will block the windows. So add "bgdf.com" to your list of trusted site.
