Hey gang, I know I haven't been around much of late, life has been hectic. I'll be around more in the coming months, as time permits.

In the meantime I thought I'd drop a little plug for something I made. At http://www.genimuse.com/journals you can find some pre-printed game journals I designed. They make for easy tracking of game sessions and have a fun little gaming goodie on every page (quotes, rules challenge, graphic challenge thingy).

The journals are printed on demand by CafePress, and the quality is quite good. They're of a convenient size (7.5" x 9.25"), "wire-o" bound so the fold back on themselves and lay flat, and come in a couple of different interior formats and three different covers.

And just (barely) in time for Christmas!

Awesome idea and from what we can see, production is top-notch. You really know how to present a product. Sad that this is such a niche item because otherwise you could get it produced for real (instead of CafePress)

I like it a lot, and I almost ordered... but I hate buying things over theinternet like thta. It's a $14 item, and the shipping is $4. That's like having a 29% sales tax. I wouldn't shop in stores if sales tax were that high, and I couldn't bring myself to order a journal for that reason either.

Too bad too, because they look great. I'll just have to stick to my pad and pen... or more likely not bother recording stuff at all. It would be cool to have a journal like that for my holiday gaming party coming up though.

Yeah, I love the Meeple front! There's actually a slim chance I may buy one, which is an amazing thing coming from me.

Well, they're selling, not a ton, but in bits. I got the first one I ordered for myself and I'm quite pleased with the results. The covers aren't quite as stiff as I'd hoped, but they're still plenty stiff, and the interiors aren't quite as light-colored as I'd planned (it's all in a 60% gray, but the printed result looks more like 80%), but again, it's light enough to not interfere with your writing.

I'm going to add a PayPal option (people pay me via PayPal, I buy it for them and have it sent to them), as I've had several questions about it.

Thanks for the comments, all!
