It's funny the way we look at the world.

I now think of all my fellow BGDF'ers in terms of their usernames and avatars.

'hey- there 's a reply from SiskNY ... who know - the smiley computer terminal guy ...'

'another reply from Scurra ... got to loove that Jester stick ...'

'there's IngredientX ... that furry little guy ...'

and then there's all the 'loaded dice' guys ...

and don't forget Zaiga or dr_Edge69 or darkehorse (who is a ... dark horse ...)

At least 'Richard Hussey' hopefully somewhat resembles his username and avatar (I suspect) ...

[Apologies to people not mentioned ... I decided against doing the compete listing ...]

Good point, I never really thought about that, but I do tend to look for the avatar.

I think I need to switch mine, need some type of sleeping gamer avatar......

The only real difference between my avatar and my personal appearance is that in real life, I'm not as well-dressed.

So, what's your reaction to those with no avatar, then? Are we enigmas? Shadows? Invisible?

Rather than risk being a 'Shadow', I made my avatar...

Strangely enough, I look exactly like my avatar. Rather edgy with a goofy grin.

It's true that I tend to see people in terms of their avatars and screen names, even when meeting them in person. I still link them back.

I used to have a pinguin as an avatar, which suddenly disappeared. I guess it has gone of to whichever pole it came from. I always forget *grin* Anyway, this avatar is the logo which I currently use for the gameclub of which I am the co-founder. I guess a little extra exposure's always good. It might help everybody get accustomed to the logo of the new world leaders BWAHAHAHHAHA... Hum, sorry 'bout that, I sometimes forget myself.

Still relatively new here, but my avatar is the same on all the forums I frequent. Last December, my life was in a state of constant chaos, so I whipped up a quick chaos roadsign to sort of reflect that online. It's gotten a bit better (my life, that is), so things aren't quite as chaotic as they used to be. I still think it's appropriate, however...so I'm keeping the avatar 'til I grow weary of it. ;)

Fire is passion, fire is creativity.

Be one with the fire.

As for the screen name I used it on a forum years ago and to be consistent for once in my life I use it as my main internet identity. Odds are if you find a dralius online it is me.
