Games to take backpacking?

My wife and I are going on a 10 day backpacking trip in August. I'd like to have some lightweight and low volume games to take along, but don't have any prospects! We like playing Settlers, Carcassone, Puerto Rico, Tigris & Euphrates, Trader of Genoa, etc. Any suggestions for games either along these lines or otherwise that might fit the bill?

Thanks!

Dear God, Lost Cities my friend, Lost Cities! Of course it is *only* 2 player but it's still great.

Lost Cities looks awesome! We will check it out online at http://www.flexgames.com/ to see if we like it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Are these games just for the two of you? Will they be played in the wind?

You may want to check BoardGameGeek's lists. Here's a search on the word "backpack":

The first one that came to mind for me was Meuterer, but it's 3-4 player and would blow away outside.

Great question on the wind. The ideal game would not be impacted by wind (and thus playable any time), but an acceptable game could be (playable in the tent or during a hellish rainstorm).

There are only two of us going on this trip. The games just need to play well with two players, not necessarily be playable with just two players.

Thanks for the BGG lists! I definitely will check them out.

Wow I've got nothing to add, guess it goes to show that I dont get to play many games these days. Very sad really...

Lost Cities is a good one, and notice that there's no need to take the board to play the game.

Another good choice is San Juan, espcially since you mentioned Puerto Rico.

If you like "settlers" there is a travel edition (I own a copy of the travel edition).. You may be able to find it in a local game stor or maybe order it in from somewhere.
