Game Creation Help

I've been trying to create a card game for awhile now. I have the majority of the game done using a program called CCG Maker. Although I need a way to create sideways cards (ie.. Buffy CCG Locations, WWE RAW DEAL BACKLASH DECK). I have CCG Maker and Photoshop 7. I need help with these sideways cards if I expect to Finish.
THANKS A LOT, thegreatone

I have no firsthand experience with the CCG Maker program, but I've seen its website. It strikes me that if you're not planning to make cards that look exactly like Magic cards, your choices will be very limited.

If CCG Maker can't create landscape layouts, then you'll probably have to finish the cards off in another program. At worst, you could take a screenshot of your card in CCG Maker, open the picture file in Photoshop, and mess with it. But I'll leave the more practical solutions to others.

If you're in a position to get new software, then there are a lot of people on this forum who recommend Freehand and Quark.

I would recommend freehand with the card template from protoparts. There was someone on the forum who created a template for the cards that opened real nice in freehand, but forgot who it was.

You can get a 30 day free trial of freehand from macromedia's website. It's fully functional and will give you a good idea if freehand is what you are looking for or not.

Please don't cross post your message to several different subforums! Everyone reads all the forums. There no point in crossposting as it will annoy people and make them less likely to answer your questions.

More Ideas

Does anyone else have any more ideas. I'm not exactly a photoshop wizard so if you could explain how to do it that would be great.
