Sorry but your post is really unreadable.

Can you post it in a different way? If not I dont think many people will have fun attempting to read it.

sorry i do not post it for the common people...i write it so you have to
make some work yourself to analyze the technical information and data.
i strongly believe a true blooded inventor creator do his own sweating.

Umm I am not trying to bash or insult you (as you obviously just insulted my intellect with your reply),

BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT I WAS NOT TALKING ABOUT THE TECHNICAL LEVEL OF YOUR POST, but I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE ACTUAL TEXT OF THE POST BEING UNREADABLE.

I can tell you that your POST IS NOT SO TECHNICAL THAT I CAN COMPREHEND THE DATA, IT JUST SUCKS TO READ. BECAUSE THE ACTUAL TEST IS FORMATED IN SUCH A WAY THAT MAKES IT POINTLESS TO READ YOUR POSTED INFORMATION!

are you sure...that in 81 square it logically possible to put more than 100
player pieces with out collision...how do you move it...it is commonly...
against the rule of chess.

No, your post wasn't so obscure that we couldn't pick up what you were talking about (btw I can think of quite a few ways in which 100+ pieces could fit on an 81-square board: the common game of "draughts/checkers" is one standard approach, but there are others.)

The cpmment was that by using lots of [...] it made it uncomfortable to try and disentangle the separate lines and, given that the main information was trapped in the middle (the whole TCVE stuff), it was rather easy to give up before getting that far - I know I did with your original journal entry.

The central simultaneous movement concept seems interesting but terribly vulnerable to abuse. I congratulate you if you have worked out a good system for solving all the traditional problems that come along with it.

OK, correct me if I'm wrong. You invented this Roman War game, and you're quite proud of it. So now have searched the Internet and you've come across this site. Great! So you think you have the greatest game since sliced bread and you want to tell us so. So you post some details about the game, just enough so that it will get us interested. And now you think that we will be beating down your door begging to let us know how 'you did it'. Ok I hate to be harsh, but we really don't care that much how you did it. For the most part, most of us aren't even interested in wargames, or chess variants for that matter. Also, we'd rather come up with clever ideas on our own than scavange yours. And the last time I checked, I haven't seen your name on a gamebox so you aren't really giving us any reason to believe you are God's gift to game design.

Again, I understand that English is not your primary language, but it is evident from your tone that you don't have altruistic intentions. If I am mistaken, please forgive me. If this is the case, please tell us what your intentions are, otherwise I fear you won't have any sort of positive feedback for your posts.

Raddulay,

Although I have been on this forum for only a short while, it is clear to me that there is no competition on this forum. People are glad to share ideas, and to comments on interesting concepts. I would also invite you to do so. I decided to resume your text down there, with right ponctuation.

Regards,

Jeb

PS: You mentionned a "Picture", but I was not able to see any.

This Guy Is a Real Headache

I am really trying hard to begin to flame this guy, but I am personally really getting very tired of this individual.

First of all he posts these cryptic almost unreadable texts with ellipses all over the place . . . . . . . . . . . He then sent me an e-mail once asking to talk; I ignored him because of his pompous attitude. Then he goes ahead and takes a shot at me in my journal saying, ha, ha DarkDream never really figured out the simultaneous movement part.

Now he wastes our time posting this cryptic crap that is basically unreadable.

The whole annoying thing is that it is totally unclear what he is even asking for. I hear that he is looking for investment.

Let me give you some advice chum, grow up and do the following:

1) Learn basic grammar when writing English. I don't know where your love of the elipse came from but your misuse of it immediately turns people off.
2) Be professional, if you are really interested in investors, let me tell you, the way you are conducting yourself now, no one in their right mind are going to take you seriously.
3) Get rid of that terrible attitude of yours that makes you think your game is the greatest on the planet. Go ahead and tell that to a publisher and see the response you get.
4) Stop wasting this forum's time. If you are not going to contribute anything but this nonsense, go some where else. This place is for intelligent honest people who love inventing board games for profit or otherwise. People are not here to boast, write cryptic comments and not even communicate what they want.

Sorry, but this guy is just annoying.

Ok, I think this conversation has run its course. I'm going to lock the thread down now, as I don't think this discussion is going to turn into a fruitful conversation about game design (or anything else...).. For anyone interested in discuusing Rad's posts, he's posted the same info in his journals, and you could give him comments there. Apologies for the heavy-handedness.
