We had tentatively planned to hold our latest "playfest" on May 14, but something came up for me, and the date didn't work for Tom. So, we've rescheduled for May 21st, from 12 - 9 (or so), at Tom's place (ping nosissies for directions).
If you're not Mike, Tom, or myself (or even if you are), please just reply to this note or to one of us to let us know whether you'll be coming.
And in case you haven't been to one of our sessions before, Albany is about 3 hours from Boston, 2.5 hours from NYC, 4 hours from Rochester, ~4 hours from Canada. So, if you don't mind a little driving, come on out and playtest some games with us! It's a blast!
Hope to see some of you there,
Jeff
It was fun!
We didn't actually have any out-of-towners this time around, so the only designers present were Mike, Tom, and myself. But, Tom was able to get a couple of friends to show up, and so we actually had, at the high point, 10 players present (!). This allowed us to finally split up into two tables and play a couple of games at once.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure which of their games I'm allowed to talk about, and also unfortunately, I'm not yet ready to talk publically about the game I'm working on, so I can't actually spill juicy details about the games themselves.
We definitely missed having you there! We're hoping that we may have whet people's appetites that some of the playtesters will come back next time. Not sure when we'll shoot for; maybe August? (what with Pow Wow in July and everything...)
Perhaps Tom or Mike can divulge more details about their games...
