The post ( http://www.bgdf.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=29497#29497 ) about who would go to BBG.CON if they had play testing got me thinking about who is going to Protospiel. I know that time and money are not infinite commodities and we can’t always do every thing we would like. With this in mind I still want to stress attending Protospiel for those who can make it. For me last year was an excellent experience. I liked it so much that I bought the company. Ok I didn’t buy anything but I did get involved with organizing this year’s event. Since you will be more likely to believe someone other than the event organizer I am asking those of you who have attended in any of the past 5 years to please post a little bit about your experiences with Protospiel. I am certain that there will be plenty of good things to say and if anyone has anything bad to say as an organizer I can work on fixing it.

I plan on attending this year. It was an easy decision for me my mom lives 15 minutes from there.

I'm not sure it will be pheasible, but I'm considering the possibility. I doubt it'll happen, I think it's a week before I go to Seattle for a frisbee thing.

I wanted to attend from the start, but was frustrated by scheduling. By 2004 I wanted to go to Protospiel so badly that I blew off said frustrating scheduling, which caused me to get into trouble at work for it, even though I had the vacation time coming, and had requested it off months in advance. I was then forbidden from ever taking those days off work again, and couldn't go in 2005. As minor consolation, I hosted prototyping tracks at Penguicon, and went to a prototyping track at ROBA that Mike Petty put together. But THIS year, the scheduling problem is offset by a few days, so I can go. Yay! I'm already registered.
