Anyone here would happen to known what is the brand of paper usually used to cover German Boxes, boards, tiles?

Brand, no, but type, yes: linen finish. It's a very common finish that every printer will be familiar with.

Ah, I see. I would think that a box printer would know.
You might ask the question on the SAZ Yahoo Group, as there are quite a few German designers and publishers there (though group traffic is very low, so it might or might not be answered).
Yes, linen finish but there are many brands with linen finish. Some not well recommended for wrapping a box for instance. Arjo has one but it is not quite the same used for most German publishers of board games.
