Hello All!

I have been working on a card game for some time now (a few years). I believe I am at the stage where I can start finalizing content. My issue is that the rules allow for up to 3 copies of the same card in a deck. The base set size is 360 individual cards at this time. A player will not need multiple copies of certain cards (91).

Now I believe the CCG model is dead / over saturated (Magic, Yugioh, Pokemon, Warcraft) and it will be very difficult regardless of the quality of game to do well there.

I like the Living Card Game model (LCG). However, it is sold at a small sample size compared to my base set numbers.

Going digital requires alot more development time for an interface, AI, in game mechanics etc. Then server costs and maintenance (staff?). I think it also shafts flgs.

Even deck building games have a small portion of cards in comparison.

I know this is difficult to advise on without knowing the game mechanics to go off of (That's another long post in the making). But if I could collect any thoughts the community might have it would be appreciated (if you where a flgs owner, which type of product would you stock sooner). Is 898 cards for a complete play set a crazy costly thing? Also keep expansion packs / future sets in mind.

Thanks for your time!

(This is in desgin theory because it impacts my design process)
