I just had a *flash* of an idea for a game in which each player plays a Lawyer. That Lawyer duels with his opponent until one player wins the court case. It might play better as dueling law firms (sort of like The Good Wife). I just pictured something with lawyers, court battles, etc.

Not sure if this could be a Deck-Builder or if it would be more of a sort of LCG (for lack of a better term).

Anyone seen anything similar???

The working title could be something like "Cease & desist"!

Maybe it could be more *simple*

One lawyer is the Defense Attorney and the other is the Prosecution... The Prosecution will try to prove that the person in question is beyond a shadow of doubt "GUILTY"... And there could be cards that are "Expert Witnesses" like a Psychologist, a Forensic examiner and the Defense attorney must counter these experts with other cards.

The goal would be to either prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the person is GUILTY, or INNOCENT and perhaps even a Hung Jury!

Seems like the majority of lawyer games coincided with the popularity of Perry Mason, and many contemporary titles appear to be instructional. Lawsuit is the most prominent title. It looks like there is potential for another.
