A silly horror/mystery game that came to me during a sleepless night. What do you think?

A couple weeks ago I had a rare (for me) bout of insomnia, and got some ideas for a boardgame. I compiled them in a simple document, and submitted it to reddit.com/r/tabletopgamedesign for review, but got very little feedback. Help me out designers, and give me some feedback on my game.

What has already been mentioned:
-It apparently bears a passing resemblance to Betrayal at the House on the Hill (?), but that is pureley coincidental, as I had never heard of the game prior to this. After perusing the rules, I feel that my game is dissimilar enough to stand on its own.
-Both a redditor and a friend suggested that the victory point "clues" should be a means to aquire "discoveries" or an alternate VP source.

This certainly has many

This certainly has many similarities with Betrayal at the House on the Hill. That doesn’t bother me at all; there is plenty of room for more haunted house games.

The scariest part of this is that I was unable to find any credits. Give yourself credit!!!

I recommend trying it without this change first so you have a point of comparison when you try the other way.
