What do You think of this simple dice game

Each player has 3 (6 players)/4 (4-5 players) or 5 (2-3 players) dice.
They roll and look at these not showing to others.
Then there is bidding until one player is left to win or somebody closes the bidding with double bid and the player with the biggest sum wins. The winner takes the money but must discard 1 of his dice. The game ends if there is only one player left with at least 1 die.

The dice is usual d6 but instead of "6", there is somekind of joker.
The set with the joker is always better than set without joker.
So if You have only 1 die left with joker there is still quite a good chance.
(If multiple players have jokers the tie-breaker is biggest sum.)

Is there any game already similar like this.

Perudo

It remember me Perudo (it has many names, please check it on Bgg), however this should not prevent you from developing your idea.
In march I had the opportunity to speak with Wallace and he pointed very clearly that he thinks that in those years just few real new ideas came out, and he was absolutely fine with that.

New ideas

Yes there are some similarities with Perudo.

Some new ideas came out meanwhile...
There are 2 symbols replaced on the dice.
fe. "1" = moon & "6" = sun.
Coins (money) have moon-symbol on one side and sun-symbol on another side.

If there is double bid and more players is able to win the coins then the biddings on the table show what is stronger - are there more symbols of sun or moon. (By bidding player may turn their coins as they wish.)

Example: if one player have 2 moons and other player 1 moon and 1 sun in their combinations but there are more coins with sun-side face-up on the table the second player wins.

Early testing

Lucky enough for you, your idea is simple enough to grant you early multiple variation playtesting.
Anyway, by the fact that you introduced the moon-sun concept I assume you already came up with a theme, this is good because themes are great drivers and ideas-cutters.
At least for me themes help me to know what I want from a game.
